モンスターハンターフロンティア ~ メゼポルタコレクション2011 - シースン 8.0/10
Monster Hunter Frontier Mezeporuta Collection 2011 Season 8.0/10

Found this while browsing the small bookstore at the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrence, California. with my co-worker. Snagged this for 15$ USD!!!! Geez I got uber lucky
Paper cover has different cash-shop armors
the actual cover underneath that shows all the Hiden armors.

The booklet shows the stats of weapons, upgrades, and armor stats. I’ll see about scanning this in but it won’t be for awhile.

And here! For hunters with a sweet tooth, all the mochi I saw (I ate like 1) a hunter could ever have

Made this cat’s paw that the Melynx use, to fit with my Melynx Kigurumi and for cosplay purposes.

I used felt, stuffing, wonderflex, and a dismembered broomstick. Hand sewn, took me 3 hours to make. Wasn’t hard to make and winged it without having to make a pattern

Made this for my co-worker’s cosplay to use @ Wondercon this Saturday (which will be held in Anaheim, California)

Back to my horsemask for now, I keep forgetting to take home my Guy Man helmet from my co-worker’s place.

Today, finally my day off after working nonestop and my pathway to becoming a Assistant Manager at my 2nd job. I went to Mitsuwa in Torrance, California, for a nice lunch break Found this there too, for 15$ c: on sale too! Monster Hunter Frontier 2011 Mezeporuta Collection Season 9.0/10.0

Capcom Cuts Its Profits Forecast by Half Because of Poor Mobile Sales

Capcom has slashed its profits forecast by 50 percent following a tough attempt to break into the mobile market.

It had originally intended to pull in ¥6.8 billion ($65 million) for the fiscal year which ended this week, but it is now reducing that figure to ¥3.3 billion ($32 million). A press release on the game publisher’s official website addresses its plans to push for a more efficient way of making games.

“Due to rapid changes taking place in the market for games, Capcom is building a sound base for earnings by reorganizing the product development framework and improving development processes. These are two core elements of the company’s operations.

The objective of these activities is to earn consistent earnings in each fiscal year. However, these initiatives have not yet started to produce benefits mainly in the Mobile Contents.”

Because of its struggles to break into the mobile market like it had intended to, Capcom was forced to post a “special loss” of ¥5 billion ($48.6 million) for ”business structural improvement expenses.”

The HD market had not been working out for Capcom with many games coming up short of project figures likes Resident Evil 6 and DmC, and rather than adapting the core games it was good at making to match the modern world, Capcom took a risky bet that the mobile market would be the place to secure its future. The decision irked quite a few of its fans, and it has probably irked a few investors by now as well.

The gamble has resulted in a company that pulled in a record ¥101.5 billion ($985.8 million) in revenue but still can’t reach the financial goals it sets for itself.

The console gaming market also dried up for Capcom as well with Monster Hunter Frontier G performing below what it was expecting. If the mobile and high end console scenes are not Capcom’s forte, where should it focus?

To nobody’s surprise, though, Monster Hunter 4 remained the company’s biggest money maker, and it is a game that caters to the crowd who have loved Capcom for ages on a platform they adore. With its success and recent news of Square Enix doing some soul searching to recapture its niche, isn’t it time for Capcom to do the same? This year’s reboot of Strider went a long way to restoring faith in the company. Just sayin’…

The Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita are more than capable of carrying quality games in line with the company’s legacy while it gets its feet back on the ground. Onimusha, Resident Evil,Dino Crisis, Ace Attorney, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Bionic Commando… Mega Man… Legends 3. I would be proud to store any one of those games on my handhelds of choice. Let’s see it happen, Capcom.

Hunters, get your artisan tools ready, for we have a special request for you: design a weapon for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate!
All right, the last time something like this happened was for Monster Hunter Tri back in 2009 and we still enjoy the results to this date, so you can see the impact of this kind of contest here… but let’s clarify a few things before you start working on your entry:
What is this contest? We are asking you to design and name a weapon that could be featured in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate!
You entry must be based on one of the 14 weapon classes available in game: Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Hunting Horn, Lance, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, Bow, Insect Glaive and Charge Blade; so make sure you label your entry accordingly. We’re only taking one entry per person, so think carefully about your choice.
To participate, just send your weapon name and design (illustration) as an email to contest@capcom.com with the subject line MH4U WEAPON DESIGN. Feel free to send in a little description to help contextualize your design, but please keep it under 100 words. Note: weapon description is NOT a requirement.
We will be selecting TWO winners: one from the Americas (both North and South) and one from Europe (including New Zealand and Australia) so please also write down your country of origin. You have until 9:00am of May 5th (Pacific Time) to submit you design.
WAIT A MINUTE! This is a pretty big contest, so we have a strict set of TERMS & CONDITIONS. So take the time to read all the RULES or you risk being disqualified… and you don’t want that.
Best of luck to everyone!
